5:00 am Hempfest Day 1: NEED MORE COFFEE

       No REEEAAALLLYYYY. I have never liked coffee too much, except during that part of my life where I liked to go to denny's after drinking and hit up coffee and smokes. I don't smoke anymore and cannot afford to go to bars so it works out that way. You figure though, if you were to start liking said drink again, Seattle might just be that place. 

                                                                  12:00pm North Hollywood

    Having just arrived to my new place of residence only an hour before, I hurried out to the front of the condo to meet up with Devin and Stash. It was the witching hour and the destination was Seattle , Washington for Hempfest 2009. It was nice to finally be on the road after a day of not being to sure if we would make it down from the San Bernadino Mts. Getting off the mountain is not the easiest thing without a car or ability to fly. Soooooo, four of us packed up into a new Mazda 626 which happened to be loaded to the brim with equipment and other various mysteries of the world (Dev packs like that crazy Mormon family on TV. Looking back the whole process was rushed and under thought on my part. Having should have left five hours before, we were left with a predicament and a situation , the latter not presenting itself right away. Devin has forgotten his vape bags for his volcano and is on a strict not smoke diet. Stash being at the helm and quite aware of the time refused to turn back the vehicle. Manifest Destiny! I had shotgun because my tall ass would not fit in the back , leaving Anelise and Dev to hold up the  back. Taking off the energy in the car was tense as we all felt under medicated and rushed. I personally not having medicated in a few days, well I wanted to use a box of kittens for fuel for my inner fire of pure fury!!! Not really but , it was not cool. Luckily there was HASH! Good stuff I hear....... Energy is a funny thing when it comes together. When it is all right at the universe shines upon us, four people can take a less than agreeable situation and turn it into lifelong memories, great ones at that. My point being, much gratitude for hash. my recollection of the next five hours is mostly a dreamlike montage reminiscent of what I remember of the Twin Peeks TV show (WHT ...who....what...huh....???). I do not sleep well in a car, add some serious concentrate and I feel like I have been roofied , except I can find my pants.

                                                                       Next up 5:00am (that weird part between nor cal and so cal where the cows do not look like those happy cows from the commercial)

Hello to all of those who are taking the time out to read this blog. I am sure as time goes by there will more opportunities to discuss and rant about the emerging medical cannabis industry. 

My name is Jub Jub. I have worked with Ajnag.com for sometime now. As of last night, Jub Jub Media's Cannabis Industry TV programming has been completed.

Since being rejected from graduate school third week in March, I have since decided to make my visions a reality--a Wellness Collective that offers fitness (Pilates and Yoga) daily as well as weekly wellness (acupuncture and massage) appointments with contracted wellness practictioners.

how long can we hold our breath?

The past week has been quite nerve racking. I am waiting to give the green light so we can begin our onsite tenant improvement evaluations, however, things seem to be stalled.

As many of you may know from visiting your local or regional medical cannabis collectives that parking is becoming a growing concern. With the increase in qualified prop 215 patients, collectives are seeing an increase in traffic which is problematic in more ways than one. Currently, we are suffering from a parking dilema as there are not enough spaces for our use. We want to be proactive and have this all wrapped up before we open, so as to better position ourselves if and when the city of Walnut Creek invokes a dispute.

How long can we hold our breath? Qualified patients in Contra Costa County are in need of medicine and wellness services, and currently with only one collective in the county it makes things very difficult.
