Immortal Technique held down Harlem in the West and ripped beats with the realness.  He spoke out for the Hemp Movement in the middle of his performance, "Did you know the declaration of independence was written on hemp?" he shouted to the crowd.  It was by far the most intense and politically charged performance of the event.  Chino XL, another East Coast native hip hopper, came through with the guest appearance.

Educational topics included how to handle law enforcement encounters, getting active for marijuana reform, an overview of Tax ,Regulate, and Control Cannnabis 2010, how to get started in the medical cannabis industry, and other professional insight on the cannabis movement and industry. The Beverly Hills Green Cross collective / Temple 420, a medical marijuana dispensary and church, operated by Reverend Craig X Ruben, was raided late Thursday afternoon by Los Angeles Police Department.  I was cruising down Robertson Boulevard when I saw LAPD in front of Craig's facility. I quickly pulled over and hopped out with my digital camera and video recorder in hand.  Craig X and his staff were handcuffed and posted up against the building with the green cross as LAPD began their menace.

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration will not seek to arrest medical marijuana users and suppliers as long as they conform to state laws, under new policy guidelines to be sent to federal prosecutors Monday.

Two Justice Department officials described the new policy to The Associated Press, saying prosecutors will be told it is not a good use of their time to arrest people who use or provide medical marijuana in strict compliance with state laws.

Paypal, the well-known internet payment company has told California NORML that it will no longer accept payments to our "type of business" because we accept listing payments from cannabis-recommending physicians.
